ROD VINCENT AS MALCOLM YOUNG - RHYTHM GUITAR

I hail from South East England, growing up on a healthy diet of great rock music from AC/DC, Rush, Led Zep, to Maiden, Sabbath and all the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal). I portray Malcolm Young of AC/DC in H2H and I am having the best time of my life emulating him, I strictly use Mal Y Gretsch signature guitars, and a heavy set of Gibson 900 M strings. This gets plugged into a Marshall vintage valve head, and turned up loud just like AC/DC, there is no other way you can nail there sound but with a Marshall. I have been using Marshall amp’s since I was 15 and I am very proud to be using the new Vintage Modern 50 watt head, the KTT66 tubes make this amp so special.
I ventured into the tribute world back in 96 in England, playing in High/Voltage a high energy AC/DC tribute band that captured the sound of AC/DC, and when I moved to Florida I had a vision to get back in a tribute act to AC/DC. I put H2H together 5 years ago, the first time I met our drummer in Sarasota at the 5 'O' clock club in walks the man himself, Mr. Brian Johnson - I couldn't believe it! I had the most amazing chance to jam "Highway to Hell" with Brian's side band in Sarasota a couple of years back, singing backing vocals next to Cliff Williams was something I will never forget. Thank you for letting me get up and play with you guys.
I invite you to come out to a show and share our passion for music with us, everyone in this band gives it 110% on stage, we leave it all on the stage and try to be as authentic to the actual band as we can. AC/DC is the greatest rock n roll band ever!
